CITY OF RINCON Invitation to Bid Sealed proposals for the Rincon Watermain Extension will be received by The City of Rincon in the office of the City Manager until 10:00AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Work to be performed under this Contract includes the following generally described items: Rincon Water Main Extension 16" watermain extension along Chimney Road and Old Augusta Road. The total length of project is approximately 20,000 LF. Electronic bid documents and specifications are available at EMC Engineering Services, Inc., 27 Chatham Center South Drive, Suite A, Savannah, Georgia 31405, (912) 232-6533 for a deposit of $50.00. All bidders should attend a pre-bid conference which will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Rincon City Hall, located at 302 S. Columbia Avenue. The scope of the project, scheduling, coordination, requirements, minority participation, and questions from prospective bidders will be addressed at this time. The City of Rincon reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order Nos. 11246 and 11375, which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
