SUCV2025000033RT EFFINGHAM COUNTY, GEORGIA NOTICE OF SEIZURE Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 16-13-49, any person claiming an interest in the following Property is hereby notified that on May 30, 2024, said property was seized by the Effingham County Sheriff's Office and there is a forfeiture pending against said property in Effingham County, Georgia: 7' x 14' Clays double axel trailer with steam/pressure washer and miscellaneous equipment attached. On May 30, 2024, a Deputy with the Effingham County Sheriff's Office, in possession of arrest warrants from Chatham County for the Claimant in this case, made contact with the Claimant at 197 Bluff Drive in Effingham County. The Claimant fled and threw a black waist pack in the yard. The pack was retrieved by the Deputy and contained cocaine, marijuana, fentanyl, and multiple drug related objects. The Claimant was arrested and transported to the Effingham County Jail. The owner of the property stated that the Claimant had brought several items onto the property that he wanted to get checked. Several stolen items were found and seized by the ECSO. A stolen camper on the property contained 2.5 pounds of methamphetamine, which belonged to the Claimant. One of the stolen items was the 7' x 14' Clays double axel trailer with steam/pressure washer and miscellaneous equipment attached. The VIN decal was intentionally removed and ECSO has been unable to locate the owner. You must file a claim within thirty (30) days of the second publication of this Notice of Seizure by sending a claim to the seizing law enforcement agency and to the District Attorney by certified mail, return receipt requested unless you were served other than by publication prior to that date. 22021 6/4/25 RL
